All in one: The new Mix 4 in 1 from WOLF-Garten is the no-worry, year-round lawn package after scarification

Looked out of the window lately? Time to think about the garden again. And generally the lawn is in desperate need of a little care after the winter. Scarification, reseeding and fertilising - that is now the magic formula that forms the basis for a fantastic green throughout the whole year. But the expert knows: "The lawn needs to be fertilised and mown at least twice before scarification. And it must not be cold any longer, the ground must have already reached a temperature of at least ten degrees", explains Klaus Skuppin, head of "Lawn seed and fertilisers" at WOLF-Garten. And because a lawn facelift is a great deal of work for a hobby gardener, WOLF-Garten has quickly developed the 4 in 1 scarifier mix. The product allows everything to be done in one go. This all-round, no-worry product includes high-quality natural ingredients that assist rapid regeneration of the lawn after scarification. But not only that: it also takes care of reseeding, the reliable ability to germinate, soil improvement and fertilising.

A complete course of treatment in one package

The "Turbo-Nachsaat" fast-growing seed that is included in our mixture is suitable for especially fast lawn repairs. It is guaranteed to fill any gaps and creates a new and healthy-looking lawn", says Klaus Skuppin. Natural microorganisms surround the roots of the plants with a "protective shield" to ensure rapid and reliable germination of the seed. The organic-mineral long-term fertiliser provides a rapid and long-lasting fertilising action to quickly form roots, produce dense roots, promote dense grass growth and allow the lawn to be used again quickly. Here the mineral component is available at once to the plants and is responsible for the rapid initial action, while the organic constituents are released as required over a longer period. This means that the old lawn area in the new part is immediately supplied with the most important nutrients. The 4 in 1 scarifier mix also includes natural pumice. The porous volcanic stone acts as a soil improver to improve water storage and promotes aeration and the formation of roots. The result is that the structure is loosened up and the soil is revitalised. The pumice is broken down in an environmentally-friendly way and is the lightest known additive in gardening. The fine-grained and structurally stable material has a neutral pH value and enriches the soil structure on a long-term basis.

Experts and professionals know: Creating a good-looking, dense, deep green lawn is a science in itself. And that is why this topic is also treated as such at WOLF-Garten - with a department of its own just for lawn research.
