InStart is the name of the new starting system in which an electric starter is supplied with energy from a lithium-ion power pack. This greatly simplifies starting: the engine comes to life at the press of a button. The InStart system replaces the starter cable that previously needed to be pulled to start the engine. Handling is so easy: the battery can be removed and charged in a moment. It is fully charged after a charging time of around 60 minutes, and then it is good for up to 50 starting operations. The power pack is ready for use once again after a very short charging time of around ten minutes, and the engine can be started ten times. InStart not only replaces the pull cable but goes much further: elaborate preparations are also a thing of the past. There is no need to pull out a choke when cold-starting. Operation is easier and user safety is improved.

The power pack is very small and light thanks to lithium-ion technology. This is also good for lawnmowers, which are lighter and more manoeuvrable as a result. Above all, there is no memory effect and no significant self-discharge - even after longer periods of storage. This means that the starting of the new generation of engines is much easier and more convenient than before. Insert the power pack, and you are ready to start!

A robust, galvanised steel and aluminium housing was designed exclusively for this series to make the lawnmowers even less susceptible to hard use. The handling of the new lawnmowers has been simplified by ergonomically shaped controls and many more well-thought-out plus points. Thus there are no disturbing handle elements and the catch basket can be removed by the handle as a result, saving your back. The WOLF-Garten EXPERT lawnmowers in this series are available in cutting widths from 46 to 53 cm with central 6x cutting height adjustment from 2.8 to 9.2 cm.

The ACC system

The petrol lawnmowers are equipped with the ACC system. The suction effect of the air flow has the effect that: 

• the grass stalks are aligned, and the result is wonderfully even cutting.
• optimal transport of the grass cuttings and filling of the grass collecting bag is assured. 

The ACC system thus provides better mowing and catching results. But it has another very important advantage: It prevents any blockage of the discharge duct and ensures optimal filling of the catch basket. Thanks to this function, the catch basket needs to be emptied less often.
