WOLF-Garten is now bringing to the market a new A series of electric lawnmowers for the forthcoming lawnmower season. The keen hobby gardener can choose between various cutting widths and electric motors and so search out the optimal solution for the regular care of his lawn. An electric lawnmower is the right choice for smaller lawns. The new A series has been designed with individual challenges and needs in mind. The size, power and weight may vary, but the quality always remains superb. These include special features such as the folding handle that is adjustable for height and has a soft-grip for a comfortable, secure hold.

Unique to all three models is the CCM system with mulching function and the Advanced Cut and Collect System. The central cutting height adjustment allows six levels from 2.5 to 7.5 cm. In addition, they all have in common the grass collecting sack level indicator and the trademarked "Flick Flack®" cable guide from WOLF-Garten. It ensures that the cable is always on the right side even after turning round and is kept outside the lawn area being mown. This means that you cannot possibly run over the power cord with the lawnmower. The columns are adjustable for height and can be folded up fully to allow space-saving storage.

The A 340 E has a WOLF-Garten electric motor with 1,400 W. Its cutting width of 34 cm makes it ideal for lawns of up to 250 m2 in size. The catch basket holds 30 litres, and with a weight of just 14 kg it is easy to handle even on tight bends. The different diameters of the front and rear wheels (150 and 200 mm) allow easy steering even on difficult terrain.

The next one up is the A 370 E with a cutting width of 37 cm that makes it ideal for lawns of up to 350 m2 in size. Its WOLF-Garten electric motor provides no less than 1,600 W. But it is still a lightweight at just 17 kg. The catch basket is designed to hold 40 litres of grass cuttings.

The A 400 E is the strongest contender in the new electric lawnmower series. Its powerful WOLF-Garten electric motor puts out 1,800 W. It is the best choice for areas of up to 450 m2 with its impressive cutting width of 40 cm. The catch basket is generously dimensioned, at 45 litres. The A 400 E tips the scales at 18 kg.

The CCM system that was invented by WOLF-Garten stands for Cut, Collect and Mulch. This practical innovation means that you only need one lawnmower for all three tasks. Simply turn the selector lever to change from one mode to another. Thus you can mow with or without a grass collecting bag, when in mulching mode the grass cuttings are finely shredded and distributed over the lawn again to provide it with nutrients.

Electric lawnmowers in the A series and the new LI-ION Power 72 V cordless lawnmowers are equipped with the ACC system. The suction effect of the air flow has the effect that:

• the grass stalks are aligned, and the result is wonderfully even cutting.
• optimal transport of the grass cuttings and filling of the grass collecting bag is assured. 

The ACC system thus provides better mowing and catching results. But it has another very important advantage: It prevents any blockage of the discharge duct and ensures optimal filling of the catch basket. Thanks to this function, the catch basket needs to be emptied less often.
